A new DVD video promises to work off the pounds simulating the movements and style of the striptease for a heart-rate pleasing aerobics session.
Urban Striptease was created as way for women to exercise, have fun and feel sexy about themselves. Creator Tricia Murphy, decided after many years of teaching traditional aerobics, dance, yoga and martial arts that this would be a new innovative way to get her members in shape at Urban Fitness in West Seattle.

File it under the “well, duh” category. Those that work out often report better sex lives than those that do not.
For example, more than 80 percent of the men who exercised two or three days a week view themselves as sexy, and all of the men who exercise six or seven days a week think they’re sexy. But among those who work out four or five days a week, that percentage drops to 65.

Every few years, a new weight loss pill becomes available with great promise and fanfare. The latest is rimonabant, which has been shown in trials to be effective at helping patients lose weight and, more imoprtantly, keep it off.
The drug, rimonabant, which the French company Sanofi-Aventis hopes to sell under the brand name Acomplia, trimmed nearly 16 pounds on average from people taking the optimal dose for two years, compared with 5.5 pounds for those who took dummy pills, doctors reported Tuesday at a cardiology conference.

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger called on bodybuilding to get rid of steroids Saturday, issuing the challenge on-stage at the bodybuilding competition that bears his name.
In his first public remarks on the steroid issue directly to bodybuilders, Schwarzenegger said the sport must become drug free.
